Heather McMillen is a registered associate marriage and family therapist (#IMF 99640) supervised by Meredith Redding LMFT within the practice. She received her BA in Human Behavior from Ryokan College, and her Masters Degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychotherapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Depth Psychology.

After 17 years as a freelance fine artist Heather possesses a deep empathy and attunement to the gifts and challenges of artistic individuals, and specializes in providing therapy to highly sensitive and creative adults, adolescents, and couples. Heather has advanced training in the treatment of trauma, and incorporates elements of mindfulness practices, trauma-informed somatic psychology, creative methods, and dreamwork where appropriate. She continues to receive specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders under Meredith Redding’s supervision.

Heather values an integrative approach to therapy because she believes it honors the unique humanity of each client by placing the focus on treating the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.
